Overview
Since 1984, The Rey Feo program, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, has raised over $9 million for scholarships given to over 4,000 students in San Antonio and the surrounding area with 200+ students each receiving $2,000 for books and tuition. The foundation receives more than 600 scholarship applications yearly, and the demand continues to grow. I was given the honor of creating the crest of Rey Feo 76, Fabian Castillo Sr.

For Fabian’s crest, we created icons that represented not only his reign, but who he is as a person. We decided to go for a subtle look & hide some easter eggs within the crest. Here are a few:
The “V” in the center for his wife, Vicki
A “C” on the leaf of the apple for his granddaughter, Chloe
A “C” within the roots of the tree for his grandson, Christian
Lastly - & my personal favorite - an “NY” on top of the crest for his favorite baseball team, The New York Yankees
